Rats, Mice, Moles and Carpet Pests

These have been the main problems over the past few weeks. The cold weather means that rodents will still seek shelter whilst several households, on starting spring cleaning have found that moth and beetle larvae have been making a meal of their wool carpets. Moles are now into their breeding season and in some places the moles have gone to join up with a mate somewhere else and the problem has doubled there. It is at this time of year that we often catch two moles when the traps are set out. Wasps are slow to show again this year but spells of warmer weather will soon change that.
