Wasp Control

We are now starting to get lots of call outs regarding wasp nests and dealt with 7 nests in the roof of one house with a roof of stone tiles, a couple of days ago. People who have houses with stone tiles need to keep a careful watch as the uneven lie of the tiles give wasps lots of opportunity to find nesting sites. These may only be able to be treated with extending dust pumps. The nests are now approching football size and we dealt with another in a roof over a bedroom to find that the wasps had stripped the plasterboard to make their nest with. There was only paint between the bedroom and the wall of the nest. They are fascinating creatures but can be dangerous to some, especially when they get excited.

It is now July and we have dealt with a few nests where the wasps have been getiing into the nest over a metres width of roof tiles. The nests are growing rapidly and are now so active that they should be seen very easily.
