Xcluder matting in a new product. This is a stainless steel wire and fibre matting which is used to block holes via which rats, mice, birds and squirrels can gain access to a house. We have used lots of this over the past few months with fantastic results. Previously wire wool and wire netting were used but wire wool rusts and netting is often too stiff to get it into every nook and cranny.
Xcluder is easy to work with and mould into place and even very small holes can be blocked. Fixed into place with expanding foam either side of it, it is impossible for anything to get through. One side may be attacked but the other side keeps it fixed in place. Nothing has gotten through at every place we have used it and we have used about 100 feet of it so far in many houses for blocking holes in roofs to stop birds and squirrels, holes inside and outside houses to stop rodents getting in etc.
